Terms of Use

Last updated 30 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Miinona Design Studio, operated by Faisal Abdullateef Yusuf ("we", "us") about the Squeeze app for macOS and the website at squeezeformac.com. By installing or using Squeeze, you agree to them.

The short version

You buy Squeeze once and can use it on two of your own Macs. You can try it free for 14 days, and you can get a refund within 14 days of buying. Squeeze never changes your original files. The app is provided as it is, so keep backups of anything important.

1. Your licence

When you buy Squeeze, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use it on up to two Macs that you own or control. You can move your licence to a different Mac by deactivating it on the old one in Squeeze's Settings, then activating it on the new one. The licence is for you, not for sharing with other people, and it covers the version you bought, as described in section 5.

2. The free trial

You can use every feature of Squeeze for 14 days without paying. After that, conversions stop until you enter a licence key. Your files are never locked or deleted, and the app still opens. Please do not try to reset or get around the trial.

3. Buying, price and tax

Purchases are handled by Polar, which sells Squeeze to you as the seller of record. Prices are shown in US dollars, and your checkout may show your local currency. Polar calculates and collects any tax that applies. Your payment is also covered by Polar's terms.

4. Refunds

If you are not happy, ask for a refund within 14 days of buying, and we will give it, no questions asked. We process refunds through Polar. A refunded licence stops working.

5. Updates and new versions

Your licence includes free updates to the version of Squeeze you bought (for example, every update that starts with 1 if you bought version 1). If we release a new major version, such as Squeeze 2, we may sell it separately, and we may offer a discount to people who already own Squeeze. You never have to buy a new version. The one you own keeps working.

6. Your files

Squeeze never changes your original files. It saves its results as new files, by default next to the originals. You are responsible for having the right to convert and use the files you work with, and for keeping backups of anything important. Your files stay on your Mac and are not sent to us (see the Privacy Policy).

7. What you may not do

8. Open-source and third-party software

Squeeze includes ffmpeg (LGPL 2.1 or later) and LAME (LGPL 2), the Real-ESRGAN upscaling model (BSD 3-Clause), and libwebp (BSD 3-Clause). Their licence texts and notices are included in the app, under Settings, then About. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under those licences.

9. No warranty

Squeeze is provided "as is", without any promise that it will be error-free, that it will work with every file, or that results will be exactly what you expect. We try hard to make it reliable, but we cannot guarantee it.

10. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for lost files or data, lost profits, or indirect or consequential losses that come from using Squeeze. Our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited.

11. Ending your licence

You can stop using Squeeze at any time. We may disable a licence that was refunded or charged back, or that is being used against these terms. We will tell you why.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes do not take away the licence you already bought.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If you are a consumer, you also keep any rights you have under the laws where you live.
